1. Roles will be handed out.
2. Go online and do some research about the role you were assigned. If your role can't be found at the link ask your teacher for help on where it could be found.
3. Learn the theories and/or philosophies
behind the pont of view that was held by your role. It is important to
understand the theories that a person believes in before being able to
truly understand their unique point of view on a topic. Make sure to
read about realist and liberal theory and connect one or the other to
your role.
4. Find some famous qoutations
made by your roles. Once you have found a few quotations be sure to
pick some that you will be able to work into your argument.
5. Formulate an argument that reflects their role's point of view. Be
sure to include some quotations that are spread out creatively through
your scripts for the upcoming debate.
6. Record your debate either as an I Movie or as a Podcast. Good Luck!
